Directions to our Animal Shelter
Going South on 421, you will pass through the center of Boone. Drive through the traffic light at the intersection of 421 & 105, and continue through one more light. You will pass the Best Western on your right. Take the first right after the Best Western's onto Daniel Boone Drive. Go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Daniel Boone Extension. There should be a small sign that says Animal Shelter. Continue 0.7 miles and turn right onto Casey Lane. The shelter is at the end of this road. From Hickory, take 321 North. Follow 321 North into Boone. Turn right onto the 105 Extension (there is a two-story Wendy's and an Exxon at that stoplight). Turn right off of 105 Extension onto 421 South. Continue through one more stop light. You will pass the Best Western on your right. Take the first right after the Best Western onto Daniel Boone Drive. Go 0.3 miles and turn right onto Daniel Boone Extension. There should be a small sign that says Animal Shelter. Continue 0.7 miles and turn right onto Casey Lane. Going North on 421, Boone is about 45 minutes past Wilkesboro. You will come to a traffic light at the intersection of 421 & Bamboo Road. There is an Exxon gas station on your left. Go through the light and take the first left onto Charlie Hollar Road. The first part of this road is unpaved, shortly after the paved section begins, you will see Casey Lane on your left. There should be a small sign that says Animal Shelter. Turn left onto Casey Lane. The shelter is at the end of this road.
