Watauga Humane Society operates its own thrift store, Bare Bones Boutique, and it is located just down the hill from our new animal shelter. 

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the thrill of the hunt
through our ever-changing inventory. 
      
 
Our staff is all-volunteer, so each and every sale generates much-needed funds
for the medical care and feeding of our shelter animals.

Directions:  From Boone, take 421 East from town,
and turn right at the traffic signal at the Old US 421 intersection
(Food Lion and electronic billboard on left).
Bare Bones Boutique is approximately one mile from the turnoff, on the right.
We are next to Rutherwood Baptist Church, and just past Hayes Tires.
