Willow is a very shy but sweet cat. She has very long orange, tan, brown, and black fur. She is almost all fluff but really weighs very few pounds (around 8 lbs).

She disappeared on Wednesday, May 15 outside my home at 1221 Stone Mountain Road in Vilas, NC. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and did not come back home that evening.

Found dog in Valle Crucis, NC traveling with a small dog last night (Easter). The small dog was too skiddish to come to me-I tried with all kinds of food and he/she was too quick/smart for me. I did manage to grab the dog listed who seems to miss his friend now as well as his home. The found dog has a bit of a limp, a maroon-ish colored collar, and no tags. The small dog had tags, but I couldn't get her close enough to read them.

She had on a black collar and there should be a black doggy-bone shaped ID tag.  She is up to date on her shots.  She is a sweet girl, but can be a little skittish around strangers.  She loves treats.  She should do well on a leash.

Seneca, along with his brother, are outside cats. They are not declawed or neutered. Seneca is the sweet, chill and loving one. He has a lot of stripes on him but a huge expanse of white on his belly. Under his chin is all white but he has a smallish dark mark under his chin.
The boys usually go out in the woods and heavy rhododendron area to play or hunt small things during the day and come home at night. Seneca can be very lazy, hanging out on the porch all day and sleeping. He is a long haired cat with mostly brown and black fur. He has white feet, with what almost looks like a dark colored ring on his front left paw. He also has a white chest and some white markings on his face. He is a wonderful cat, and is greatly loved by our whole family. We would really like him back. He growls almost, with a groaning type noise, if he doesn't want you coming closer to him, and he's not too fond of other cats or of dogs. He will bite or scratch if he feels threatened, but if you let him come to you he can be the sweetest cat ever. He was wearing a black flea collar, and has probably escaped his regular collar. Squig apparently decided to go adventuring last night (9-10-2012) on Coffey St. in Boone and had not returned by this morning. She is very skittish and shy and I am worried that once the town gets busy she will be very unhappy out in the world because she is an indoor cat. Zelda, the famous aussie/border collie mix girl that was well known for wandering around near the post office in town, has escaped again from her brand new adopters. She escaped from her owner at the top of Pine Run Road (the first left off 421 past the Old 421 intersection). She slipped her harness so she has no identification, although she is microchipped. PLEASE keep an eye out for her and drive carefully in that area.

Our most recent update says that Zelda's adopters followed her down towards the river on Pine Run but lost sight of her again. Unfortunately, that is a rural area with a lot of places for her to hide away. Hopefully, she will settle into a routine of visiting houses and we will be able to lure her back.
