Dog Park Tree Angels

A member of the Dog Park called Watauga Humane Society with a very timely community service project idea.

The companies listed below have gotten together to donate trees, landscape designers, machinery, laborers, essentially what ever it takes, to place up to 400 - 500 white pines and dogwood trees in the Dog Park!

On November 10th, 2006, we received the donated trees. We used many of the White Pine Trees to buffer the livestock market next door and lined the road up to Dog Park with dogwoods. Trees planted inside the park will be protected by fencing so they can grow w/o dog pee, etc.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our Tree Angels ~ the businesses who donated trees to our Dog Park!
