Our Wish List (Things We Need)

Sometimes we need particular items. We have compiled a list of things we need for the animal shelter to reduce operating costs. OUR IMMEDIATE NEEDS ARE IN BOLD.

For the Bare Bones Boutique Thrift Store:

  • Large Plastic Storage Containers
  • Volunteers (To Help Sort, Price, Sell, and Pick Up Donations)

Sanitation Supplies (for cleaning up after the animals):

  • Laundry Detergent

  • Bleach (we use LOTS of bleach!)
  • Paper Towels (we use LOTS of these, too!)

Volunteers:

  • Able-bodied volunteers to help prepare our new dog park
  • Volunteers to walk our dogs.
  • plumber to fix leaky faucets
  • Volunteers to help with cleaning from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
  • Volunteers to help prepare crates for spay/neuter on Wednesday afternoons.
  • Volunteers to poop scoop our yard.
  • Volunteer plumber to tap into the water line and install a water source in our old Thrift Store building
  • Foster Homes (for orphaned kittens and puppies, new moms and babies)
  • Responsible, animal-loving seniors and juniors from Watauga High School to intern at the shelter for class credit
