Sometimes we need particular items. We have compiled a list of things we need for the animal shelter to reduce operating costs. OUR IMMEDIATE NEEDS ARE IN BOLD.

- Large Plastic Storage Containers
- Volunteers (To Help Sort, Price, Sell, and Pick Up Donations)
Sanitation Supplies (for cleaning up after the animals):

- Bleach (we use LOTS of bleach!)
- Paper Towels (we use LOTS of these, too!)

Volunteers:
- Able-bodied volunteers to help prepare our new dog park
- Volunteers to walk our dogs.
- plumber to fix leaky faucets
- Volunteers to help with cleaning from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
- Volunteers to help prepare crates for spay/neuter on Wednesday afternoons.
- Volunteers to poop scoop our yard.
- Volunteer plumber to tap into the water line and install a water source in our old Thrift Store building
- Foster Homes (for orphaned kittens and puppies, new moms and babies)
- Responsible, animal-loving seniors and juniors from Watauga High School to intern at the shelter for class credit
