Don't Have A Dog To Jog?
If you don't have a dog, the Humane Society is allowing participants to walk some of their shelter dogs in the event. Please register early to walk or run with a shelter companion. We will have a limited number of dogs on site and ready to go with you.
However, you are not required to accompany a dog to participate; this event is open to everyone!
(If you wish to walk a Shelter dog please call the Watauga Humane Society Shelter 828.264.7865 at least one week in advance to make arrangements to reserve a dog.)
Pledges
Participants are encouraged to collect pledges. All pledge money must be turned in by 10:30 a.m. the day of the event. A prize will be given to the participant who raises the most pledge money.
