 Darla4 Years Old
Spayed Female
Boxer

Darla is a super sweet, loving, playful, and cuddly, 4 yr old spayed female boxer. She loves to run and play and snuggle. Darla’s current owner loves her very much and is pained to have to find her a new home. Darla is very dominate and needs to be the only dog in a family, and suggests no small children.  She needs lots of love and attention as well as lots of room to run and play. Darla is trained in an invisible fence as long as she knows her boundaries. Her owner is looking for a very specific new home for her and will settle for nothing less than perfect. If you would like to meet Darla, contact Kristin at 828-773-0343.

 Jack2 Years
Neutered Male
Catahoula/Cattle Dog

Jack is highly intelligent and learns so fast that it amazes me. He of course fetches, plays tug of war, and he is trained to run beside me on my bike and can also pull me on my skateboard! He loves going on runs although he is very fast so he pulls on the leash quite a bit. All I do is give an occasional snap or tug of the leash to remind him that I am controlling the pace and he will slow down. He is a very active dog but perfect for an active person! He also loves fetching sticks or tennis balls out of a river or lake, he is an excellent swimmer.

It breaks my heart to have to do this because this is the sweetest and most intelligent dog I have ever owned, he just doesn't like small children and other dogs. He is a constant companion, but not to the point of being annoying. He will not get under your feet or trip you but simply lay near you and occasionally put his head in your lap to "check up".

If interested in meeting Jack, please call Ashley at 828.406.9303

Neutered Male
Labrador

I have a pure bread chocolate lab that i must give up because I have to move.  She is 5 years old, fixed and good with small children.  She is afraid of other dogs and will act agressivly towards them until she gets used to them.  She has no hip dysplacia, is in great health but is allergic to wheat.  Please contact Lara Baker 773 6026

 Lola9-12 Months Old
Spayed Female
Retriever/Terrier Mix

We have been fostering Lola since we rescued her from the streets on July 4th. After an unsuccessful search for her original owner, we had her spayed and microchipped. All her shots are current, and she is housetrained. Lola is a wonderful dog; unfortunately, our current living situation will not allow us to keep her permanently. She deserves a loving home and would make a great addition to a relatively active family with a yard. She would probably be happiest with another canine companion, but she would also do well as an only pet, provided her new owner makes sure she gets the exercise and mental stimulation she needs.

Lola has a sweet disposition and fun puppy energy, and she has demonstrated her ability to learn quickly. She has mastered “sit” and short “stay” and is progressing well with leash walking—takes her about two minutes to settle into her stride. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She enjoys running in a yard and taking walks, but is also happy lounging around the house. She’s a great dog and deserves to be part of a great family.
